I really do believe there is adventure to be found everywhere. This was my first time in Texas and I love the state! I was lucky to get to go on this trip that was completely paid for by my university, Kent State, and also have some time to explore the city of Austin. Austin was a very vibrant and alive city, I would compare this feeling of aliveness somewhat to that of Rio de Janeiro because Rio is another city I've been to that has its own energy! It's cool how Austin blends a young, fun culture with a start-up culture and also a music culture. Next time I'm back I have to catch some more live music in Austin and also see the western end of the state!
